The Quarter Pony is a versatile and adaptable little horse that embraces the qualities of their breeding - in a smaller, compact 'pony size, family friendly' format!

While the Quarter Pony shares physical traits with its quarter horse relatives, it stands out as a more suitable mount for riders of smaller stature or those seeking a horse of a more manageable size.

             Although our Registries are open to Western type ponies, and ponies with Quarter Horse ancestry the Quarter Pony breed is not limited to western pursuits. The Quarter Pony can often be seen showcasing the breeds talents in a number of different disciplines. 

​

Quarter Ponies do well at Pony Club, Riding Club, sporting and jumping as well as Show Horse classes and various performance events, proving themselves desirable all-rounders.
